Shakari Cadogan
Shakari A. Cadogan joined the Firm in 2025 and is an Associate in both the Intellectual Property and Property Departments. Her practice focuses primarily on trademark registration, with additional experience assisting clients with patents and copyrights. She also handles a range of general conveyancing matters within the Property Department, approaching her work with diligence and attention to detail.
Shakari earned her Bachelor of Laws degree with Upper Second Class Honours from the University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus in 2023, where she was named to the Dean’s List for two consecutive semesters. She subsequently obtained her Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School in 2025 and was called to the Barbados Bar in the same year.
She is committed to community engagement and has served as a Student Ambassador at the Barbados Community College and as Registration Coordinator for the Registration Buddy Programme at the University of the West Indies. Her volunteer work also includes contributions to the Barbados Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals and the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
Outside of her professional responsibilities, Shakari is actively involved in multimedia operations within her church ministry and enjoys travelling with her family.
