Kevin O. Bryan
Kevin Bryan is an Associate in our Intellectual Property and Property Department, having joined our Firm in 2023 and following a successful first career in accounting. His varied expertise and training allow him to offer our clients a unique, commercial perspective.
In 2016, Kevin embarked on an exciting career change to law. He earned his LL.B. and an LL.M. in Corporate and Commercial Law from The University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus in 2019 and 2020 respectively. He thereafter obtained his Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad and Tobago in 2022, followed by his admission to the Bar in Barbados that same year.
Kevin advises on a range of practice areas including intellectual property, wills, trusts and estates, conveyancing and mortgages, catering to local, regional, and international clients. He is also knowledgeable in domestic corporate and commercial law.
In addition to being an Attorney, Kevin is also a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Secretary of several years standing. He earned his B.Sc. in Economics and Accounting in 2001 and his ACCA in 2005. Kevin then pursued further studies with the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators, becoming a Chartered Secretary in 2013.
Outside of work, Kevin is generally keen on volunteering. In this regard, he currently serves on the Member Services Committee of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Barbados and has previously served on its Legislation Committee. He was also a former Treasurer of the Barbados Bar Association.
