Codie R.W. Hinds
Codie Hinds joined our Litigation Department in 2023 as an Associate, where he is regularly deployed to resolve the disputes of our local and international clients. Codie brings with him a wealth of experience and a passion for litigation, and practises primarily in civil, commercial and employment law.
He has successfully represented clients across all levels of the Barbados Supreme Court and before various Tribunals.
Codie’s journey in law began when he graduated with an LL.B. (Hons.) from The University of West Indies, Cave Hill Campus in 2016, followed by obtaining his Legal Education Certificate at the Hugh Wooding Law School in Trinidad. Soon after, he was called to the Barbados Bar in 2018.
In 2020, Codie reached another milestone by completing his LL.M. in Oil, Gas, and Renewable Energy Law with Distinction from the Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law at Swansea University. In addition to his litigation experience, Codie has advised stakeholders on oil and gas sales agreements and energy law and policy.
Beyond his legal pursuits, Codie's passions extend to fitness, travel and philanthropy.
